Exercise Science

Exercise scientists help people increase their fitness, sporting performance and general health. They use a combination of bio-mechanics, physiology, psychology and performance analysis to assess a person’s individual requirements and develop an appropriate training program.

What is exercise?

When we talk about exercise, we nearly always refer to physical exercise. Exercise is the physical exertion of the body – making the body do a physical activity which results in a healthy or healthier level of physical fitness and both physical and mental health.
